Since 2014, the small-form ceramics prize, promoted by the art school, has been perpetuated. Over time, this event questions the relationship between art and technique while favoring the porosity of genres (fine arts, applied arts and decorative arts ...). He confuses reality and the imaginary and reveals the multiple and abundant universe of ceramic creation ...

THEME 2020

The flower holder

The flower holder is a container that may take various forms and shapes and is characterised by openings or "necks" designed to hold the flowers of a bouquet in place. Wall-mounted or free-standing, this unique vase is an essential support for floral art. From the most modest bouquets to the most elaborate compositions, it brings together, arranges, and presents flowers - cut or artificial - foliage and branches.
The flower holder showcases the plant element. It captures its fleeting freshness. It underlines its beauty. It conveys its message.
Whether it is a conventional object or an ornamental work; encompassing functional design or religious symbolism, you will design your flower holder for specific functions. You will determine which floral species you expect it to display and the circumstances under which the object will be used.
